Resilient dissipative dynamic output feedback control for uncertain Markov jump Lur’e systems with time-varying delays

The resilient dissipative dynamic output feedback control problem for a class of uncertain Markov jump Lur’e systems with piecewise homogeneous transition probabilities and time-varying delays in the discrete-time domain are examined in this study. The designed controller can tolerate additive uncertainties in the controller gain matrix, which result from controller implementations. The time-varying delays are also supposed to be mode-dependent with lower and upper bounds known a priori. By constructing a Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional candidate, the sufficient conditions regarding the existence of desired resilient dissipative controllers are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities, thereby ensuring that the resulting closed-loop system is stochastically stable and strictly dissipative. Two numerical examples were established to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed theoretical results.     

A new epidemic model of computer viruses

This paper addresses the epidemiological modeling of computer viruses. By incorporating the effect of removable storage media, considering the possibility of connecting infected computers to the Internet, and removing the conservative restriction on the total number of computers connected to the Internet, a new epidemic model is proposed. Unlike most previous models, the proposed model has no virus-free equilibrium and has a unique endemic equilibrium. With the aid of the theory of asymptotically autonomous systems as well as the generalized Poincare–Bendixson theorem, the endemic equilibrium is shown to be globally asymptotically stable. By analyzing the influence of different system parameters on the steady number of infected computers, a collection of policies is recommended to prohibit the virus prevalence.     

Novel Mittag-Leffler stability of linear fractional delay difference equations with impulse

In this letter we propose a class of linear fractional difference equations with discrete-time delay and impulse effects. The exact solutions are obtained by use of a discrete Mittag-Leffler function with delay and impulse. Besides, we provide comparison principle, stability results and numerical illustration.     

Darboux transformation and explicit solutions for the integrable sixth-order KdV equation for nonlinear waves

Korteweg-de Vries (KdV)-type equations can describe some physical phenomena in fluids, nonlinear optics, quantum mechanics, plasmas, etc. In this paper, with the aid of symbolic computation, the integrable sixth-order KdV equation is investigated. Darboux transformation (DT) with an arbitrary parameter is presented. Explicit solutions are derived with the DT. Relevant properties are graphically illustrated, which might be helpful to understand some physical processes in fluids, plasmas, optics and quantum mechanics.     

一类求解抛物型方程侧边值问题的最优滤波方法

该文考虑一类特殊的抛物型方程侧边值问题,即一类含有对流项的非标准逆热传导问题. 给定在x=1处的温度测量值来确定区间(0,1)上的未知解u(x, t). 这是一类不适定问题,即问题的解(如果解存在)不连续依赖于数据.为了求解这一问题, 必须采用某些正则化技巧. 该文给出了一种最优滤波方法, 使得问题的真实解和近似解之间的误差估计达到了Hölder型最优. 同时还证明了问题的解在x=0处的收敛性.     

Several improved asymptotic normality criteria and their applications to graph polynomials

As widely regarded, one of the most classical and remarkable tools to measure the asymptotic normality of combinatorial statistics is due to Harper's real-rooted method proposed in 1967. However, this classical theorem exists some obvious shortcomings, for example, it requests all the roots of the corresponding generating function, which is impossible in general.Aiming to overcome this shortcoming in some extent, in this paper we present an improved asymptotic normality criterion, along with several variant versions, which usually just ask for one coefficient of the generating function, without knowing any roots. In virtue of these new criteria, the asymptotic normality of some usual combinatorial statistics can be revealed and extended. Among which, we introduce the applications to matching numbers and Laplacian coefficients in detail. Some relevant conjectures, proposed by Godsil (Combinatorica, 1981) and Wang et al. (J. Math. Anal. Appl., 2017), are generalized and verified as corollaries.     

Electron and positron nonthermality effects on the formation of damped solitons in collisional multi-component plasmas

Electrostatic damped field characteristics in non-thermal fast positron and electron plasma having fluids of positive and negative pair ions have been discussed when collisional frequencies parameters are taken into account. The damped and forced form of Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (DKP) equations have been obtained. The plasma parameters effects of electron density ratio, the negative ionic density ratio, the pair ionic charge ratio, the density of positron ratio, the collisional frequencies, ion mass ratio and the fast non-thermality on the electrostatic damped and forced field formations, as observed in D-F -ionosphere and laboratory experiments have been investigated.
